INSPECTION & ACCEPTANCE / KEDA LED

An LED poster delivery and acceptance checklist

Agree acceptance criteria before the order, then use the same checklist when the display arrives. A documented review helps distinguish transport damage, a configuration mismatch and an operating question.

Agree the record before production

List the model, pixel pitch, native resolution, cabinet arrangement, controller and required accessories in the approved specification. Identify which drawings, documents and inspection records are required for sign-off.

Define the image tests and acceptable defect criteria with the factory for the selected model. A numeric dead-pixel threshold, colour tolerance or inspection standard should not be assumed when it is absent from the order.

Record the package and cabinet condition

Photograph package labels and the outside of the case or crate before opening. Record visible impact, moisture or damage and follow the agreed carrier-claim procedure where necessary.

After unpacking, compare the display and supplied accessories with the packing list. Check the screen face, cabinet edges, base, wheels and accessible connectors without dismantling the unit or performing unapproved electrical work.

  • Package identification and arrival photographs
  • Model and unit identifiers
  • Cabinet, screen face and base condition
  • Accessories and spare parts against the packing list

Test representative images and the pixel map

Use the agreed test media and representative customer content to review the image at the intended viewing position. Check orientation, native resolution and whether content is cropped or stretched.

For a joined layout, review image alignment across units, the approved content map and the signal arrangement. Six HB-X portrait active areas form a 2:1 canvas; a 16:9 source needs an agreed fit rather than automatic stretching.

Check the approved operating workflow

Test the selected publishing method, restart procedure and playback configuration using the supplied instructions. Confirm optional inputs or connectivity against the actual order.

The factory confirms IP54 protection for the HB-X front only. That does not establish whole-cabinet outdoor suitability. For exposure, cleaning, maintenance and electrical checks, use the approved instructions and appropriately qualified personnel.

Keep the handover and support records

Retain the approved specification, packing list, inspection results, operating instructions and any applicable model-specific conformity documents. Record the items accepted and any issues that remain open.

KEDA LED displays have a two-year factory warranty. The warranty start date, coverage and service arrangements are documented in the order agreement. For support, provide the model, unit identification, symptom, images or video and the checks already performed; agree parts, return and freight responsibilities before dispatching anything.
