Separate the display from the shipping package
The HB-X brochure lists a 43 kg display weight and a 646 × 2050 mm overall width and height. These figures do not establish the weight or dimensions of a flight case, crate or complete export package.
Request an approved packing specification showing the outer length, width and height, gross weight, units per package and included accessories. Include the final base, supports, cables and spare parts in the packing review.
Choose protection for the handling route
A reusable flight case may suit repeated event handling, while an export crate can be assessed for a fixed project. Discuss the actual cabinet, handling method, lifting access and movement route with the factory and forwarder.
Case capacity is configuration dependent. A 2-in-1 case request in the inquiry form is a quotation option, not a statement that it is standard or suitable for every display. Confirm internal clearance, restraint and protection of the screen face, cabinet and wheels.
- Approved units per case or crate
- Display restraint and protective padding
- Handling and lifting arrangements
- Accessories and spare parts in each package
Calculate volume from outer package dimensions
Package volume in cubic metres is outer length × width × height, with all three dimensions expressed in metres. Multiply by the number of packages after checking whether all packages have the same dimensions.
Do not use the active screen area to calculate freight volume. A forwarder may charge by volumetric or chargeable weight according to the transport service, so confirm its calculation method alongside the measured gross weight.
Compare the same delivery scope
Share the destination country, city or port, delivery address requirements and target installation date. Tell the team about stairs, lift dimensions, unloading equipment and venue restrictions where relevant.
Record the transport method, trade term, included transport legs, insurance and responsibilities for import clearance, taxes and local delivery in the quotation. Compare supplier prices against the same packing and delivery scope.
Keep a record for dispatch and arrival
Agree the packing photos, package identification and inspection evidence to review before shipment. Confirm how the display should be unpacked, moved and stored on arrival.
Inspect and photograph the package before opening and record any visible damage with the carrier. Keep the packing materials and share the model, package and damage records with the factory if an issue is found. Claim deadlines and service responsibilities depend on the agreed transport and order terms.
